October 23, 1949 - 1st Mass held for the White Settlement Catholic Mission in the recreation hall of Liberator Village. Rev. Joseph M. Thomas, Assoc. Pastor of St. Alice, celebrated the Mass.
1950-1951 – 8 1/2 acres of land was bought for $12,000 for the establishment of the Church.
September 1952 – A barracks building given to the parish by St. Alice is moved onto the property. It was first made into a school. The small mission school opened, offering K-1.
January 30, 1953 – White Settlement Catholic Mission formally becomes SS. Peter and Paul Parish. Reverend Joseph Erbrick becomes 1st Pastor of Saints Peter and Paul.
June 1953 – School converted into Chapel
January 8, 1954 – St. Peter and St. Paul divided into two independent parishes.
August 12, 1961 – Bishop Gorman of the Dallas-Fort Worth Diocese changes the western boundary of St. Alice church, which brings 136 families to St. Peter.
1988 – Groundbreaking of Parish Hall
May 14, 1995 – Groundbreaking of new Church
October 27, 1996 – Dedication of new Church
June 2017 – Remodel of the Youth Center and creation of the Saint Teresa of Calcutta Perpetual Adoration Chapel
January 21, 2023 - Groundbreaking Ceremony for New Narthex.
November 20, 2023 - Blessing of the New Narthex.
